About Us Hi! My name is Josee Knecht, owner of Massage and Contour Memphis! I want to thank you for visiting my website! As part of making an informed decision, you need to know who I am and what training my team has received to successfull help you!I am passionate about helping others feel better with Massage Therapy and look better with non-invasive, non-surgical body and facial contouring. My educational background as a Nurse, a Massage Therapist and a Lypotherapist has allowed me the priviledge of meeting so many wonderful clients with similar health and body image needs to mine. I graduated with my CNA and LPN from Arizona State University in 1993. I'm certified to be a Paramedic, a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Lypotherapist with Lypossage, a Medilift Specialist from Diamond Systems and a Certified Laser Aesthecian from Laser Institute of America. I have well over 15,000 hours last counting of body contouring experience.About the Company/Our History:Massage and Contour Memphis started in July of 2008 as we transitioned from just Massage Therapy to a stronger focus on Body Contouring. Prior to that, I operated Massage by Josee since October of 2003. In July of 08, we launched Lypossage and the Diamond Medilift as our premier body contouring systems. We set up a lauch with my spa consultant, Betty Harris of Spa Group of America, and for an extreme 8 days we did over 40 consultations and sold an astounding amount of body contouring packages! This launch started my 6 day a week, around the clock schedule that I still have today. After enjoying our start at Chiropractic Memphis in Collierville, we moved to a more spacious location near Fed Ex at Hacks Cross and Winchester near Germantown and Collierville. We've expanded our services to include facials and Airbrush Tanning. Our product lines, LypoSpa and systems are unique to Memphis .Our Mission:We want to help our clients attain and maintain there ideal body shape using non-invasive, non-surgical body contouring techniques. This congested tissue can have poor circulation (you'll note that cellulite prone areas are cool to the touch). Lymphatic flow may also be restricted by tight undergarments and pantyhose. The cellulitic layer is a physiological fatty layer that is supposed to be there. The extent to which it is visible is affected by several variables including: genetic predispostion, dietary habits, exercise habits, and hormones among others.4. What parts of the body respond to Lypossage®? Lypossage can be performed on three areas of the body known as zones.
